George Annan Jr. (b.1994; Worcester, MA) is a first-generation Ghanaian American based in the Greater Boston area. His work explores communities, fashions and subcultures within their respective locales, earnestly photographing subjects that are recurrently misrepresented with a view to spotlighting them in an alternate light.  The parallel between human experience and environment is at the root of his projects.
